What does a monthly car rental contract cover?
A monthly contract gives you the car for 30 days with full comprehensive insurance, a set monthly mileage allowance (typically 2,500–3,000km), and 24/7 roadside assistance. You pay once a month. There are no hidden extras.
Can I renew my monthly rental?
Yes — most of our customers renew month to month. You can keep the same vehicle or switch to a different class based on availability. There is no lock-in and no penalty for ending the rental after any month.
How does monthly rental compare to a car loan?
A car loan typically requires a deposit of R10,000–R30,000, a credit check, and you carry the risk of depreciation and maintenance costs. With monthly rental, there is no deposit beyond our R3,900 security deposit, no credit check, and maintenance is handled by the rental company.
What happens if I go over the monthly mileage?
Additional kilometres over your monthly allowance are charged at R2.50/km at the end of each rental period. If you know you drive more, let us know and we can discuss an extended mileage package.
Is monthly rental cheaper than daily rental?
Significantly — our monthly rates work out to roughly R150–R300 per day depending on vehicle class, compared to R250–R550 per day on daily rates. The longer you commit per billing period, the better the per-day rate.
